Vanilla As a vanilla specialist, Pierre Montale pays particular attention to this charismatic ingredient. Vanilla was one of the first scents of the brand. Intimate, sensual and gourmand, it is essential to the elaboration of oriental perfumes. Montale Parfums has more than thirty scents based on Madagascar vanilla: the most beautiful vanilla in the world.

Patchouli Native to Indonesia and Malaysia, patchouli is an essential plant in the perfumer's range. Its powerful scent is characteristic of chypre, woody and oriental perfumes. It is found in more or less 95 percent of our collection.

Oud On the range of Pierre Montale's most popular scents, rises the spirit of the oud, guardian of the traditions at the gates of the the middle east. A fragrant Asian ointment widely used in the Gulf and Saudi Arabia, the scent is extracted from the oil of agar wood. A secret millenary process, kept for several years protected from the light. Captivated by its infinite combinatory capacities, Pierre Montale became the first exporter to the West. He then composed more than a hundred timeless scents based on Oud wood.

Floral Montale has diversified it's florals over the years. From white and heady flowers such as jasmine, tuberose, orange blossom or ylang-ylang, the bouquet is varied and offers depth and richness in our creations. All our flowers are extracted in Grasse, the city of perfumes.

Citrus Citrus scents group all the fragrances based on citrus fruits. Sparkling and joyful, these notes are very often found in the top notes of our creations to bring energy, acidity and freshness.
